What an incredible winter... yet Mother Nature showed her face yesterday. So not so much on a fishing report yet as we are all still digging out of our driveways!!! But tonight watching WALDO the WALLEYE; fishing looks real good. WALDO is our Bayside resident mascot. We'll update you soon...Actually WALDO will...

FLW Pro Fishing Tournament was an awesome site here at Beaver Bay. The Pro's & Co-Anglers caught many nice size walleye in Beaver Bay and winner of the $70,000 1st prize was Dan Stier of Mina, SD with an 18lb, 14oz win. We at Bayside Resort thank all fisherman who traveled our way.

Fall has arrived...and so have Bayside Resort's fall hours.......But if you feel as we do "where was summer?"
A quick update for all you fishing enthusiasts: The bite has been decent ..A lot of good action right hear in Beaver Bay... We currently have crawlers and minnows and a limited supply of tackle.. Fall Hours: FRI-SAT-SUN: 7am - 11pm M-T-W-Th: 11:30am - 2pm and 5pm - 8pm |

Fishing has picked up here at Beaver Bay. Some nice size walleye are being caught. Live bait seems to be working the best.
Here at Bayside Oahe Resort we have minnows, crawlers and some tackle. We also carry Crank Caddy and Striker brands. Fishing remains to be a little slow with muddy water conditions. The good news is the ND GFP has been pulling their nets and big fish are coming out of them. But again, the water needs to clear a bit. This shouldn't take more than a couple weeks and activity should definitely start to pick up. Shore fishermen have been out catching a few northern pike and limited numbers of walleye. With the nice weather approaching, now would be the time. Currently we don't have bait stocked but we will have live bait on-hand by the end of this week. Crawlers may take a few weeks. It's always a good idea to give us a call with any questions you may have. Call Tiffany or Kevin at 701-254-5540. We're looking forward to another wonderful season of fishing and good times at Bayside Oahe Resort.

 Well, we're glad to announce the ice fishing season has finally kicked off with most of the lake froze up and fishable, however you do want to use caution where every you're fishing and still check the ice. Anglers have been getting on the ice and coming in with some nice fish. Some very nice walleye and northern pike are being caught and guys are also getting quite few smaller perch. If this is any indication of what the bite is going to be like - it should be a great year of ice fishing on Lake Oahe. We do have bait, a full service restaurant/lounge and alot of great people to share information with at Bayside Resort. Give us a call with any questions!Bayside Resort |

5:30 pm: Nice size Walleye are being caught between Hazelton Boat Dock and Cattail… Making Beaver Bay a Prime area!!!
While crawlers are bait of choice, the walleye are beginning to bite on minnows once again. We (at Bayside Resort) carry both crawlers and minnows… Open year round… Watch for Bayside Resort’s First Annual Ice Fishing Tournament…. |
